The Proposal

Based on a Real Story (:P)......

prerequisites: Hero & Heroin of the story have been referred as Boy & Girl respectively.
The place - some place in Tamilnadu. The periods mentioned below between
hyphens aligned with present date. The sentence in Red is a Caution

--NOW--

A Diwali Day... Early morning ..... Sun beams hug the earth....
suddenly our Boy woke up and realized "Oh... Its not an usual Diwali to wake up in the afternoon ..."
Yup... Our Boy is meeting his girl today ....

--THREE YEARS BACK--

Our boy was doing his $#@%&*! in a college... Our Girl was working in a private concern.
Somehow our Boy fell in love with her ( It needs another post if i elaborate )...
Our Boy will be a lamppost in the street which She always takes to go for work, morning and evening.....
A baby Girl or Boy will accompany him .....
Some of Boy's relations who were friends too, were supporting their love and encouraging him to propose ....
After two and half years, the day has come .....

Let me give a chance to imagine our Girl....
you guys might be aware of the song 'Aval appadi onrum azhagillai' of the film 'Angadi theru'....
Each line of the song suits our girl perfectly....

--NOW--

Our Boy and two pairs who are his friends step into the Girl's Home .....
Lucky Boy!! No one was around except our Girl and her little sister ....

Our Boy nears our Girl with rapid heartbeat... He tries to sound out ....Mere empty words ....
Others in the room were cooperative and left the Home ..... Silence eclipses the room ....

Finally,

Boy : you know? I like you so much.

Girl: I knew. But, I was able to neither reveal myself nor face you since I have been engaged
with someone from my relations for more than 10 years. He is
working for a private organization. But, my lips refuse to pronounce 'I don't like you'. At the same time, I couldn't turn up. I am in a complicated situation.

No single word from our Boy.... Unknowingly, He grabbed her hand. Hands play with each others. Girl is unconscious.... Each of them conveyed Diwali wishes at least 100 times...
The scene was filmed for half an hour .... If you ask the Boy or Girl now that what was the discussion all about, they would recollect only 2% of the conversation.......
He left the home half-minded.... Our boy was drugged by Love .... He couldn't sense anything expect the girl whole day ....

Our boy moves to another college which is situated one of main cities in Tamilnadu for higher studies.... Girl phones him once in a week.... Then, week became month, two month, six month...
Finally, the channel was ceased by business of both .....

The Girl is married now .... The Boy is working somewhere in India .....

Moral of the Story:

Girls are very practical nowadays.... Love at first sight will never work ....

Girls validate Boys with,

* if he earns well *if he will suit our family *if he fulfills our expectations *how he is and many ....

Guys, its not a simple job ( :P)

( I was about to write this post in Tamil so that it will be more emotional .... Since, some of my friends felt concerned, I posted this in English as emotional as I can..... )
